Mold Components

At Sankyo Oilless, we value the input and requests we receive from our customers. We strive to work closely together to create innovative solutions. One example is our mold components division. We have developed products for unique opportunities such as inclined applications.

Many customers have problems with incline application because of pin breakage. Once a pin breaks it can shut down the production and halt productivity. That's where the MTG unit comes in.

In addition to the reduction in pin breakage you can also greatly reduce machining errors with this application.

KOCU(M): With this product you can dramatically reduce the time it takes to adjust the pin height. No longer does the mold builder have to continuously remove, grind or shim to the required height.

Double wall hollow Cooling pin system.

We have developed a space saving system to achieve proper cooling at the core block.

KOCU MR & FR Double wall cooling circulation system

The cold water and hot water go out and come back in the same pin but in separate areas of the pin. You do not need another pipe to maintain proper cooling which saves you critical space.

Sankyo Oilless has transferred its industry leading expertise in wear characteristics from the die industry to the mold industry. We are passionate about our research and development and commitment to excellence. We now have the value added product for your ultra heavy load conditions.

It is not aluminum bronze or ampco. This material’s official name is "SO#50SP7" (Patent number?). Customers in the field commonly refer to this as "SP7".

The "Maximum Allowable Load" of this material is more than 8 times higher than the usual ampco.
